Description: Are you getting curious about college — what it’s like or what you’ll study? Maybe you’re looking forward to attending an Ivy League School and can’t wait to get started? What about extracurricular activities, making new friends and the whole experience of going to a school in a big city? No problem! Here’s your chance to find out what it’s all about at a top Ivy League university, in a program that puts you on campus, in the dorms and in the classrooms. New for summer 2004, The Penn Experience lets you spend three weeks on campus at the University of Pennsylvania with other high school students from around the world, exploring different fields of study that interest you most. You’ll choose three majors and two minors developed from the Penn curriculum. Plus, our special College Admissions 101 minor will give you the tools you need in preparation for the college application process wherever you choose to apply. This is the real thing. You’ll live in The Quad, Penn’s famous complex of residence halls. You’ll eat in Penn dining halls, take classes, use the libraries, play sports and enjoy social activities as if you were a full-time Penn student. In addition, a wide selection of recreational activities includes instruction and play with the pros from the Julian Krinsky Schools of Tennis and Golf, off-campus trips into Philadelphia, and weekend trips to regional attractions such as theme parks, Washington, D.C. and New York City. |
