| | Description: Day camp is held at Camp Winnecomac in Kaukauna throughout the summer. In addition, there are special sessions offered at Camp Vic-To-Rae in New London and the Girl Scout Program Center just north of Appleton. Camp hours are from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Girls provide their own sack lunch for each day. Two daily snacks, all materials and supplies, and bus transportation are included in the cost of camp. Programs provided at day camp involve girl planning to determine what activities they will participate in while at camp. The girls will discuss the options they have while at camp with their counselor, and decide together what their week will look like. Activities include art, nature, sports, archery, low ropes course, cooking projects, singing and games. Most groups at Camp Winnecomac will have the opportunity to visit the Kaukauna pool for a day of fun in the sun. ‘Me Time’ is offered two times during the week. This offers girls the opportunity to decide what they would like to participate in on an individual basis. During this time girls can choose from a variety of camp related or specialized programs. The enclosed descriptions give a general idea of some of the activities the girls will take part in. The actual program content, however, will be determined by the girls. | | | | | | | Camp Season:2004-06-07 to 2004-08-20 Sessions: Camp begins on June 7th and ends on August 20th. | | | Request Camp Information | | | Pages Updated On: Sun Oct 10 2004 - 21:52:04.
