Until you spread your wings! Camp Black Hawk is a coed summer camp for children and adults with developmental disabilities.
Three or four campers of similar age and interests are paired with one terrific camp counselor.
This small group becomes good friends in a very short period of time, and works together to plan their activity schedule.
Each camper is given just the right support to encourage involvement, but allowed the independence needed to boost their self esteem and pride in their own accomplishments.
By combining well trained staff, lots of fun summer activities and a camp director with more than 15 years experience supporting people with disabilities, we are sure Camp Black Hawk will be the highlight of every campers summer! |
