Description: Certified instructors at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy (DLGA) at IMG Academies have the uncanny ability to recognize swing problems and communicate easy-to-understand solutions in a fun, effective manner. Whether your aspiration is to play professionally, earn a college scholarship or simply win a spot on your school team, the DLGA, located in Bradenton, Florida, will help you achieve your goals. Players of all levels, ages 8-18 are encouraged to experience the training techniques designed by world class instructors at the #1 multi-sport training facility. Our weekly Summer Camp programs run Sunday through Saturday, June through August and include instruction in the following areas: - Range/video swing analysis
- Putting/chipping
- Pitching
- Bunker/Lob shots
- Course management and etiquette
- Live play at a local golf course
Program features include: - Video Analysis of swing
- Tournament play
- Trips to Disney World, Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Sea World, Busch Gardens and much more are scheduled on some weekends.
Facilities: - 30-acre double ended driving range with target greens, sand bunkers, chipping and pitching greens with Tiff Eagle grass.
